and they are keen to touch base with us about forming a team * We have said we are interested and to keep us updated * This will likely be a UWA team that we help to feed players into and not us and the last time didn't run as everyone either watched it themselves or were sick * We think Screenings with UniSFA are a good idea, and next time we should advertise it more * We can screen things such as older videogame adaptations #### Cameron Hall Minecraft Server - SMP * Meeting happened this morning * The server is going to wrap up, because the end dragon was defeated & the player base is dwindling * So the subcom will likely dissolve in around 2 weeks * The server will likely only need around 2 people to continue making sure the server is ok for the few people still playing * We think people overall had a good time and this lasted longer than the previous server so that's good #### Smash Perth Collaboration Tournament 2 Tentative Time: 21st of December 9am - 5pm * Alex spoke to Marvin and Smash Perth * Adam may ask UWAnime to also ask to advertise * They would like to do this on Saturday the 21st of December * Either Ezone 210/211 or Ezone Social * Likely Ezone 210/211 as an alien invation with a team of GMs that work together to run each group * It is not a very videogame centric idea but is a great social idea for a collaboration * no one is against it and everyone means $2000 which is POG and can be used for this PC * Geoff agrees with everyone else that this is a good deal * Some suggest that it could be possible to consider getting 2 of these but * the grant committee server has been made to discuss this but not much progress has been made * The current Google website is very easy to edit which is great but the complex sections (minutes upload) of the website can be done on a seperate website ### Unify * This is likely not worth it as we don't currently even use our discord and instagram to full effect ### Discord Server #### Updating Server/Clubroom Rules Tentative Release: March 2025 * Alex started on this, not much progress * But we think we need to ensure it is on the same 'page' as the Door Manual V2 #### Hole/Gap in Clubroom * Possible options Geoff has found to fix this hole/gap PVC Foam Board but it is a little pricey, ~$60 * Could have PVC sheets, won't mesh with the surroundings * It is a little bit of a security issue to have this hole/gap (people can reach and mess with items in the clubroom) * Would likely cost $70-80 for nice look and $40-60 for basic * Geoff suggests going to Bunnings to check what the items actually look like so he can get more information, that's a good idea and we aren't in a urgent rush so it's alright > Geoff: Check what the PVC Foam Board at Bunnings are like and if they are fit for our purpose #### Potential IRL Meeting Time during the Semester * Jasmine thinks having in person meetings are good for productivity and committee bonding * Some people think that it won't be workable with people's schedules * Also could be difficult for some people due to commute times * Having it work with people's uni schedules so that it is when people are at uni for the day would help
